Hira Malla Walks in Fields of Gold
Hira Malla, our trekking guide from Pokhara, Nepal, had her birthday recently and we made this short video to celebrate the occasion. Hira, and her family, are some of the best people we have ever met in our worldwide travels. They bring a sense of relaxed joy to every get together, much like a magic elixir for us :) As a single mom, with two young children under her wing ... Hira had to reinvent herself, to earn some money. She became a trekking guide! Her parents are so proud of her .... now she is a guide! Bravo Hira .... this video of appreciation - is for you!
