As per the officials of Tribhuvan International Airport, the child artiste and her mother were among 15 persons who were killed on Monday while travelling from Pokhara to Jomsom when plane crashed at around 9:30 in the morning local time. Besides, many commercials including Rasna where she shared the screen space with Karisma Kapoor, Taruni had acted in films too. She made her Bollywood debut as a child artiste in Paa. She also, played pivotal roles in two Malayam Movies Vellinakshatram and Sathyam. The little girl made a debut in television reality shows too as a replacement for a contestant named Shriya in one of the episodes of Shah Rukh Khan's show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? Taruni has featured in at least 50 ads in India including the popular Rasna ad. Also perishing in the crash alongside her was Taruni's mother, Geeta. The 14-year-old Taruni is survived by her father, Harish Sachdev. Of the 13 Indians, who died in Monday's crash, seven were from Mumbai. The small plane crashed, killing 15 people while six others miraculously survived, officials said.
