Thamel EcoResort in Kathmandu 2012 [02:53]
It was a lovely lodging right in the middle of Thamel. However, blackout was often at night, and the backup generator was not that fantastic, so I carried a torchlight with me all the time. Unfortunately, Thamel is really a crowded place, thus from the rooftop we could not see very far.

Part 4 SURVIVAL IN TIBET-Survival Series This is for my friends in my group who are interested in survival. We couldn't release the film because our Nepali friends were in danger...shortly afterwards,King Dependra was assasinated and many our our Nepali friend's businesses were being attacked and targeted, because of association with Americans. There was a total media blackout in Nepal, dead bodies in the street, buried under the road downtown in Katmandu. That's why I waited until July 03, 2010...to release these videos. #4JOURNEY BACK TO NEPAL-Walking in cyclone high winds and penetrating bullets of rain, I turned my camera off for a while. The hillsides were pouring chocolate thick mud flows, which were between 2-4 feet deep. Had to take our hiking boots off and walk through the dangerous mud flows; making a survival chained link of human hands, just in case one of slipped and was swollowed alive. Rested in Zhangmu, this time we slept in a clean room, after complaining about our first visit. We continued on to the Friendship Bridge...the river separating Tibet from Nepal. When we arrived we had no papers to leave Tibet....it was a terrifying experience....

Fukawa Ryo in Nepal ( ふかわりょう ) Blackout in Nepal.. [03:13]
Fukawa Ryou, a japanese artist goes to Nepal, just to get his hair cut under a project of programme called " sekaino hate made itte-Q" .. the process of Fukawa getting his hair-cut was supposed to be recorded live.. but due to a sudden black out on nepal, live recording couldn't take place.. the hair-cut style was all left up to the nepalese barber.. see the result of fukawa's hair-cut .. Nepalese Style (7:3)..
