80% Bridge - Annapurna Trek, Nepal. [00:47]
Nepal, Annapurna region, somewhere near Khangsar. We had taken a path off the main highway of the Annapurna Circuit, our map had shown a choice of no less than three bridges to make the required crossing. The map was wrong. Stumbling into a Nepali family on a camping trip, we asked for directions. The man pointed in the direction we were heading and said "80% bridge". Not sure of the exact meaning of that statement we thought it sounded like pretty good odds and took our chance. We had not realised he meant it literally...

Day two of our Mount Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. From Pakding to Namche Bazaar. You see a lot of yak and donkey trains, sherpas carrying heavy loads and you cross many suspension bridges. Today has the highest bridge crossing of the entire trek.
Nepal 2010: Thin Bridge Crossing [01:03]
On our way down from Tengboche, the Nepal 2010 excursion group came across a short but very thin bridge. It had no prayer flags on it - religious items we used to measure the stability of bridges - so it was quite a risky walk, but all went well and we continued our trek down back towards Namche Bazaar. Watch as Stefan runs across it and makes the whole thing fluctuate.
