Celebration in Nepal [01:00]
Heard this ruckus from our guesthouse in Pokhara, Nepal. We ran out to see what it was and were a little worried that we might be filming a funeral. Turns out it's a celebration! The best answer I received was that it is either for a wedding, or an elected official. Nepal is one of my favourite countries that I've travelled to, if you have a chance to go, please don't turn it down.

Nepali Teej festival in India [ Nepal ] [01:21]
Nepali Teej festival . "Teej" is the fasting festival for women. It takes place in August or early September. The festival is a three-day long celebration that combines sumptuous feasts as well as rigid fasting. Through this religious fasting, hindu women pray for marital bliss, well being of their spouse and children and purification of their own body and soul.
