Nepal 2011 - Part IV "Thorung Phedi to Jomsom" [05:33]
Crossing 5'416m high Thorung La Pass for sure is one of the highlights of the Annapurna circuit! Starting at 4am we reached the summit at aroung 9am and finally got to Muktinath at around 16h. Getting to lower Mustang and Kali Kandaki is amazing as the landscape changes dramatically after having passed Throung La.

Nikhil's Canyon Swing @ The Last Resort, Nepal [02:33]
It's the worlds highest canyon swing. I jumped off the 160m high suspension bridge, then free-fall 100m into the dramatic gorge before the twin lines swung me 240m at 150km per hour!!! Man...it is amazing....experience of a lifetime...:D

Tenzing-Hillary Airport, also known as Lukla Airport, is a small airport in the town of Lukla in Khumbu, Solukhumbu district, Sagarmatha zone, eastern Nepal. The airport is rated as one of the most dangerous airports in the world as it has a very dramatic cliff at the end of the runway. This video was taken in March 2010, during a trek to Everest Base Camp.

Tibetan Dance Drama Kathmandu 1976 [06:10]
1976 Kathmandu Nepal, habe Tibetanische Flüchtlingsfamilie kennengelernt. Soll ein Drama, anlässlich des Tibetanischen Neujahrs festes, fotografieren. Keine Ahnung was da auf mich zu kommt, früh um 4°° gehts los, ein Platz am Fuß der Swajambhu Stupa. Es kommen immer mehr Zuschauer, sie bilden einen Kreis. Mein Freund Lobsang spielt eine Trommel, mit einem Beckenspieler machen sie die Begleitmusik. Palden ist einer der Schauspieler in unterschiedlichen Rollen. Es wird getanzt und gesungen, die Zuschauer meist Tibetaner lachen und weinen. Das Schauspiel geht von 6°° bis 18°°, mache so ca. 150 Dias. 2009 nachdem die Dias jahrelang im Schrank lagen und vor sich hin gammelten hab ich endlich eine Möglichkeit gefunden sie zu digitalisieren und zu bearbeiten. Dank MAGIX !! Hab dann eine Diaschau gebastelt und sie mit eigener Musik unterlegt. Hoffe das Video und Musik gefallen, wünsche viel Spaß!!
