Remission Possible: Kathmandu to Lukla to Namche Bazaar [03:21]
The first of our Remission Possible 'Everest Base Camp and Island Peak' expedition videos. Follow our team as they first fly into Lukla (from Kathmandu) then trek to Namche Bazaar. This section of the trip takes 2 days as it's important for acclimatisation purposes to spend a night halfway at Phakding. Watch for the brief but incredible views of Mt. Everest & Nuptse from the cockpit during our flight. Not to mention the brief and not so incredible view of the pilot's yoke (aka 'steering wheel') attached with some red string and cord! Gotta love Nepal.
