Interview with Director of Mission Hospital, Tansen Nepal part ONE [07:25]
Dr Rachel Karrach is the Director of Mission Hospital in Tansen Palpa Nepal. SHe is very wellrespected in the country. At the end of my trip in 2007 I promised her that when I returned to Honolulu I woudl do everything i could, to find a surgeon who would round out the medical staff. At the time, I knew it would take a miracle, but if you don't dream, your dreams will never come true. In the meantime, she gave this interview about the hospital and medical mission work. part one of two. I present it here as a service to those who are thinking of the commitment this requires. Krishna Birthday Celebration 02 [01:26]
Hindu God Krishna Birthday Celebration, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Nepal. 21-Aug-2011. We unexpectedly ran into meeting the celebration of Hindu God Krishna's Birthday in Kathmandu Durbar Square. I was in love with the atmosphere right away. I was so attempted to dancing but so shy that I finally left it and kept it in my mind. One Nepali guy was so kind to invite me to join the dancing celebration after he heard that I was so much wanting to be dancing. And I said no (God knows what I was thinking). That day we were lingering around the temple, sitting, walking, feeling some kind of joyfulness unknown to us. An impressed day.
