Flying into a dangerous airport! [00:50]
Lukla, Nepal is the start of the trail to Mt Everest. It's considered fairly remote with one of two options to get there -- a walk in or plane flight into one of the most dangerous airports in the world. Flying low through the fog, surrounded by enormous mountain and guided by what only looks like the GPS in my car ensures anyone's knuckles turn white. The Tenzing-Hillary Airport runway approach hangs off a mountain edge, is desperately short with a 12 degree incline and is susceptible to strong cross winds from the mountains Definitely makes you feel more alive! It's impossible to get a good impression of the great stupa of Boudhanath in Kathmandu, Nepal by a movie. It's not just the visuals and the sound that makes it an amazing place. Boudhanath has a specific smell, but even more, it's got energy. You should go yourself to experience it. I'd recommend it, as it is my favorite place in the world.

Nepal - Gokarna Mahadev Temple [04:44]
Walking around the Mahadev Temple in Gokarna. Wikipedia: Gokarna is a village development committee in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3414 and had 497 households in it. In the village, on the banks of the Bagmati, stands the Gokarna Mahadev temple. It was built in 1582. In late August or early September people go to this temple to bathe and make offerings in honor of their fathers, living or dead, on a day called Gokarna Aunsi.

This is a preview of a movie that I'm working on. It's about Aama ko Ghar, a house for homeless people in Nepal. I want to make a Dutch and an English version. Boudhanath Stupa [01:30]
Boudhanath (also called Boudha, Bouddhanath or Baudhanath or the Khāsa Caitya) is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. Boudhanath is also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
