Teeji is a special, three day festival for women, involving feasting, fasting, ritual bathing to wash away sin, and dancing. They pray for the longevity of their husbands and the success of their marriage. We caught the ladies in their red and gold finery of their wedding day. Iain was greeted by the lead man who held his hands and all the ladies whooped and cheered.

Nepal - Wedding Time [01:17]
For our last day in Pokhara, we got to attend an arranged marriage wedding. Very delicious (though incredibly spicy) food and entertaining music, but the heat and lack of shade killed us. All in all it was a great experience, even though we didn't get to see a goat being...."prepared." Also, a little something extra at the end.
