Army Helicopter Rescue in the Himalayas near Lukla [00:24]
Plucked off the mountains near Tengboche by the Nepalese army no less! I had been waiting 6 days to be rescued and was now on my way to Kathmandu via Lukla. Guy next to me is a Sherpa who has summited Everest twice. What a ride! Left me beathless, quite literally.

Eating Jeri Puri in Tulsipur, Nepal [01:10]
This delicious combination of fried, sugary goodness is one of our favorite treats in Nepal. We foreigners (Adrienne and Karie from America and Michal from Poland) like to think that we're fairly experienced in the ways and varieties of Tulsipurian cuisine, and jeri puri is near the top of our list.

2010 Nepal Everest Base Camp and Cho La Pass Trek [07:10]
**Best viewed in HD** In April 2010, under the watchful eye of seasoned Nepali guide, Jagat Lama, our band of nine Americans dodge Maoist protesters in Kathmandu, exploring mysteries found only in distant corners of the city. We then fly to Lukla and begin trekking through the magical Khumbu valley to Namche Bazaar (11200'), following a lesser traveled route beyond via Khumjung, including a freezing night in the Phortse Family room, on to Gorak Shep and eventually, Everest base camp (17500'). After reaching the summit of nearby Kala Pattar (18200') the following day, we traverse the valley then climb and cross the awe-inspiring Cho La pass (17780').
