Trekking with children in Himalaya is possible? There's a recurrent misjudgement about it saying children are very sensitive to high altitude, at least in our case that's not true: they loved it! No problems up to about 4000m. We extensively trekked and climbed in the Himalaya before having children for pleasure and professional reasons, now we know next time we'll have to spend a few months in high altitude our children will happily come too...

Orphaned baby rhino [00:28]
Orphaned baby rhino in Chitwan village, Nepal. This rhino was rescued after being attacked by a tiger, you can see the marks on its face; the fate of the mother isn't known. Tourists are allowed visit the rhino, but it is strictly protected and people must keep their distance and not touch the animal. It will be released back into the jungle when large enough to defend itself.

Dit is een preview van een film waaraan ik werk. Het gaat over Aama ko Ghar, een opvanghuis voor dakloze mensen in Nepal. Ik wil een Nederlandse en een Engelse versie maken. De beeldkwaliteit van deze preview is laag, omdat het te lang duurt om een HD-versie te uploaden. De complete film zal van een hogere kwaliteit zijn. Als je opmerkingen hebt, hoor ik het graag. This is a preview of a movie that I'm working on. It's about Aama ko Ghar, a house for homeless people in Nepal. I want to make a Dutch and an English version. The quality of this movie is now low, because the uploading of a HD-film takes to long now. The full movie will be in a better quality. I appreciate it if you have comments on this preview.
