Maruni Song of Nepal (पुर्बेली मारुनी नृत्य) [05:02]
This is essentially an original Maruni dance performed with a great pomp and show in a group by the different castes eastern part of Nepal or groups of people such as Magar, Rai, Majhi, Kumal etc. Mainly who live in the Koshi, Michi Zones of eastern part of Nepal. But we can find rarely in other regions also. They are perform this Maruni dance and song on the special occasions of Tihar, and other special festivals by playing typical folk musical instruments, such like as madal, flute, cymbals, binayo, mujura, etc. It is traditionally believed that women should not make this dance. Therefore, only Man Perform this in a disguised form wearing women dress and decorating them as women.

Wedding in Bakthapur [10:57]
Walking throughout Bakthapur´s narrow streets suddenly there was a wedding celebration: street musicians playing some particular instruments plus some known ones... lots of people surrounding the bride (beautiful) and the groom... a big red tent waiting for all of them, plenty of food and smells... The old Kingdom of Bakthapur was celebrating the life, in my opinion like thousands of years ago...

Daily life in SOS Children's Village Lumbini [03:02]
SOS Children's Village Lumbini is the ninth SOS Children's Village in Nepal. It is located in the birth place of Lord Buddha, the western part of the country. It is comprised of 15 two-stored family houses for 150 children, village office, Director's quarter, staff quarter, aunts quarter and guest house, kindergarten building and a play groud. 8 co-workers and 21 mothers/aunts are providing their service to needy children.
