Riding in a car on the roads around Kathmandu, Nepal. [01:47]
Wild Wild West on the roads of Kathmandu Valley Nepal. People drive and ride cars and bikes like wild animals. No respect for traffic laws and there's no enforcement either. Government collects trillions of tax money but can't see any new road construction or improvements. In contrast, there is increase in importation of new cars and bikes and other vehicles from other countries. Very few items are produced in Nepal that is exportable to other countries. Almost everythings are imported from India, China and other countries. We, Nepalese, once known as self sufficient people have become dependable to foreign countries. What happened? Is this the fruit of democracy?
