Tsem Ladrang, Naranthan, Nepal
The ladrang team after many weeks of exhaustive search found a beautiful house in the hills of Naranthan in Kathmandu Nepal. It is TSEM LADRANG-NEPAL. They worked hard along with people from other depts who stayed for weeks there to oversee the contracters as they carefully and beautifully renovated the house. It has a nice yard, parking area, guest quarters, nice rooms, butterlamp house, and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Kathmandu Valley. The Ladrang team and students did such an incredible job with the renovations and grounds. I love it so much. When I was there, I was 'stuck' there in a pleasant way. I did not want to leave at all. Every morning when I woke up, I was dying to open the windows to see the mountains, and let in the fresh cooling mountain air. Fantastic. I would walk up and down the mountains every evening after dinner for excercise. It took around one hour or so to complete the walk. At the bottom of the hill is a wonderful village market with resteraunts, flower sellers, temples, fruit/vegetable shops, pharmacies, etc. The sellers very friendly. It was very pleasant to walk down and up the hill. Here's a short video I found on my phone yesterday and decided to post up now after I took the shots last year.
