    Located in the Far-Western Region of Nepal on the border of India, the city of Dhangadhi is one of the entry points into the country for people traveling from India. Dhandadhi is the capital of the Kailali District in Nepal's Seti Province, and with a population of around 45,000, is the largest city in the Far-Western Region, one of the five development regions of Nepal.

The administrative headquarters for the region is located in the city of Dipayal, also known as Dipayal Silgadhi, which is in the Doti District of the Far Western Region's Seti Zone.

  • Mahendranagar

    Mahendranagar is named after King Mahendra Bir Bikram Saha of Nepal with the main area of the town named King Mahendra Square. The town or city is situated about five kilometers to the east of the Indian border and is regarded as a ‘border town’.
