Mera Peak and Island Peak Nepal Expediton 2012
On the 28 April - 24 May 2012, Team Singapura Everest will be tackling one of their biggest test. To summit 2 mountains in 1 expedition. First to Mera Peak (6467m) Mera Peak is a mountain which lies in the Himalayas, in the Sagarmatha region of Nepal. At 6,476 metres (21,247 ft) it is classified as a trekking peak. Via Amphu Laptsa Pass (5845m) This expedition combines attempts on both mountains with a trek through the remote Honku Valley and a crossing of the spectacular and challenging Amphu Laptsa Pass. Finally Island Peak (6189m) Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, is a mountain in the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. Mera Peak & Island Peak are two of the most popular trekking peaks in the Nepal Himalaya.
