Poon Hill – Nepal

Note: The footage was recorded using iPhone 4. Also, the footage was a little shaky, as I was just a beginner in videography, so spare me!For the first time, we tried trekking to Poon Hill in Nepal for 4 days. We had the time of our life and it was such a good and enjoyable experience for us. Maybe next time, we shall visit again and try Annapurna Base Camp or Annapurna Circuit Trek.We started at Nayapul and spent a night at Ghandruk. We were lucky to reach Ghandruk's guest house just before the heavy downpour. The next morning, we set out early and passed through Tadapani. There were a couple of climbing up and down the slope which it was pretty exhausting for us since we weren't that physically fit. However, we made it to Ghorepani just before sunset. By then, the weather was cooling and dry, perhaps, 18°C in temperature. We were told to get ready by 4am on the next day to start climbing up the Poon Hill. The climb took us 30 mins to complete and we were so excited and glad that we made it up there with a sense of accomplishment! All I can say is, it was awesome!Music: Rising Spring Instrumental (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTQwLNVnemY) Recorded on: 3rd June 2012 - 5th June 2012
